Bel Power Brochure Details Broad Range of Non-Isolated & Isolated DC-DC Converters

Jersey City, NJ April 28, 2005 ...Bel, a premier designer and manufacturer of modular non-isolated and isolated power dc-dc converters for high-speed networking and computing applications, today announced the release of a new Bel Power Brochure. The 12-page, 4-color literature offers photos, and specifications relating to the Company’s most frequently specified product offering. Additionally covered are converters which operate from 2.5V, 3.3V, 5V or 12V rails and provide output voltages from less than 1V to 5V. A variety of packages, providing output currents ranging from 1A to 150A, is offered. Bus converter modules, which convert a 48V bus to a 12V rail for intermediate bus architecture applications and other isolated converters operating from 24V and 48V busses are included.
Among the over 14 full series of devices listed are non-isolated surface mount and vertical mount boost converters, overmolded surface mount modules, and compact surface mount parts. Isolated and non-isolated modules in SIP packages, including boost converters, tracking buck converters and low power converters are noted. Further detailed are 1” x 2” isolated converters, as well as those in 1/16 brick, 1/8 brick sizes. A bus converter series designed for low cost, high-density applications, and providing typical full load efficiency to 96% is additionally featured. This distinct series comprises modules in 1/16, 1/8, ¼ and ½ brick sizes. All pertinent information relating to Bel’s voltage regulator modules (VRMs) may also be found.
