Mark Coggan Named North America Sales Director of Bel

JERSEY CITY, New Jersey, November 8, 2005 -- Bel Fuse Inc. (NASDAQ:BELFA & NASDAQ:BELFB) announced today that Mark Coggan has been named North America Sales Director, a new position at the company. In addition to overseeing Bel's sales representative and distributor network, the Company's strategic account and regional managers will report directly to him.
"With his many years of directly relevant industry experience and impressive record of accomplishment in a variety of senior positions of increasing responsibility with major electronics companies, Mark Coggan is ideally suited for the new position of North America Sales Director at Bel," said President Daniel Bernstein. From 1999 to 2005, Coggan served with Avnet, Inc., Phoenix, most recently as Product Line Specialist Director for electro-mechanical product lines representing more than $200 million in annual sales. In this position he was responsible for meeting revenue, working capital and inventory targets as well as managing supplier and customer relationships and overseeing the sales team. Earlier, Coggan was Corporate Product Marketing Manager I&E Products at Marshall Industries, Milpitas, California, where he developed and implemented strategies for sales, marketing, training and advertising for several electronic product lines. Coggan began his career in 1986 as Operations Manager with Solid Electric, Palo Alto, California, before joining Sterling Electronics, San Jose, as Product Marketing Manager, IPE Products ten years later. Sterling Electronics was acquired by Marshall Industries in 1998.
Coggan earned a B.A. from San Jose State University in 1985.
